I raced motocross for more than 20 years -- seven as a local pro -- and I'm now a Cat. When I first started riding DH, I just used my moto helmet. But since then, I've read and witnessed a few things that suggest to me that most moto helmets snell approved bike helmets probably too stiff for MTB womenss bike helmets -- if not motocross and highway use.
